God’s Beautiful Creation

Genesis 1:31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.

Over the past month I have had opportunities to see new places in El Salvador that I have never seen  before and they have been some of the most breath-taking places I have ever seen in my life! And I have to agree with God when I look at what He created and say “It is very  good”! The picture above was taken in a town called Suchitoto and it is a very old town. There are buildings there over 700 years old. The picture was taken from the balcony of a home that I stayed at overnight for a birthday party. I could not stop looking at the beautiful man-made lake that serves as a dam for power generation. It is impossible to capture the beauty in a photograph – there was such a depth to the scenery you can only truly appreciate  with the human eye.

This is a picture taken from a deck where we had lunch at a resort on the Pacific Ocean. The water here is about 80 degrees and the waves are 10 to 15 feet high and very strong.

This was taken at a rest stop on the highway on our way to  present a drama at a school in the mountains the other day.

Here is a picture of a river that we went to where we  sang and prayed after a long day of evangelism. We presented the drama in 4 different schools in two different departments (states).

A corn field was planted on a hill surrounded by a forest of mango, palm and banana trees.

And last but not least on my list of beautiful sights is the faces of God’s children who have dedicated their lives to serving Him here in El Salvador and sharing the life changing message of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

2 Peter 1:16 We did not follow cleverly invented stories when we told you about the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

I am so blessed to serve the Lord and witness His majesty in His creation and His majesty in the ability to change human lives!

Under His wing,
