Merry Christmas!

Luke 2:15 And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known to us. 16. and they came with haste, and found Mary and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. 17. And when they had seen it , they made known abroad the saying which was told to them concerning this child. 18. And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds. 19. But Mary kept all these things in her heart. 20. And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told to them.

My prayer for you this Christmas is that you are filled with the same awe and wonder as the shepherds were that first night that Jesus came into the world – God became man in the form of a baby to live a sinless life and to become the sacrifice for all sin so that we could have eternal life with Him for ever. This is the story that the angels told and no matter how hard the world tries to take the Christ out of Christmas it can’t be done! He is the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace and one day the government of this world will be on His sholders and there will  be peace on earth that will never end. He is coming back and this is why we celebrate the day of His birth! He has not forgotten us or left us as orphans – He lives in our hearts and has promised to never leave us or forsake us! What greater gift could you ever have!

Happy birthday Lord Jesus – come soon!

This Christmas season may you be filled with the Joy, Love and Peace of Jesus Christ!

Under His wing,

Amen ! Happy Birthday Jesus !
Dr. David Jeremiah’s sermon today was titled “If there wasn’t a Christmas”. Here are some of the “truths” he mentioned. If there wasn’t a Christmas- the BIBLE would be UNTRUE, GOD would be UNKNOWN, OUR SINS would be UNFORGIVEN, OUR PRAYERS would be UNANSWERED and OUR HOPE UNFOUNDED !
Praise God for His greatest gift !

Thank you Linda! I enjoy reading.

  3. 69 This prayer is “the voice of a bride addressing her bridegroom it is the very prayer that Christ himself, together with his Body, addresses to the Father.
